Comparison Technologies selects Fanclub for integrated consumer PR for Energy Helpline
Following a competitive pitch, Comparison Technologies has appointed us to deliver a series of creative integrated campaigns for its energy comparison website Energy Helpline.
Our first campaign, ‘The Crown Fuels’ - launched to coincide with the release of season 4 of the highly anticipated Netflix drama series, “The Crown” - highlights the savings that the Royal cast can make on their energy bills if they switched this winter and consists of onsite and social content plus media relations.
Speaking about the appointment, Lea Hartkopf, Interim Marketing Director for Comparison Technologies, said: “Even though we all use gas and electricity, switching is not always a habit.
“Our mission is to give everyone access to brilliant deals, and so we wanted to expand our reach outside the personal finance space to help even more customers cut their bills.
“We selected Fanclub PR as we were impressed by their deep understanding of the consumer, with creative ideas driven by a data-led approach.”
Paul Lucas, Director, Fanclub, added: “Energy use is quite literally a hot topic be that the drive towards EVs or affordability for the vulnerable. Educating the public on how to cut their energy usage and make it more affordable over the coming months taps right into the heart of the team’s beliefs. Our campaigns will focus on not just highlighting the problems, but implementing the solutions and it is a challenge we look forward to.”
The appointment by Energy Helpline builds on Fanclub’s growing consumer client base, which includes Emma mattresses, bike subscription service, Buzzbike and student accommodation provider Mystudenthalls.com.
